Tree of the Year Awards - The Woodland Trust now has four regional shortlists for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. This will be for the public to vote on before one national winner will be crowned. Visit

6 May - Hit the Downs MTB, an off-road cycling event supporting St. Barnabas and Chestnut Tree House hospices – the event, now in its 2nd year, starts and finishes at Windlesham House School near Washington – choice of a 30km course for beginners or a more challenging 60km course for experienced MTB riders, taking in the stunning scenery and views of the South Downs National Park – visit or call 01903 706354
